Current weather information directly from the SHMÚ website!

SHMUapp is not an official SHMÚ application, it was created at the users' request and serves as a temporary alternative.

The application can be used for free with ads, or for a fee in the premium version. More about the types of ads and data used for display can be found on the Google AdMob support page.

Before reporting an error, please check the website www.shmu.sk, if the information is not displayed correctly there (outages of radar, Aladin model), it will not be displayed within the application either.

Troubleshooting:

1. Application won't start after update.
   In this case, it is necessary to clear the application's data or reinstall the application.
2. Application does not download any data.
   There may be an issue with internet connection or it is also possible that SHMÚ changed its website.

If you grant the application access to your location, you will receive alerts for that specific area, your location will be displayed on the map, and in products you can choose a location closest to you.

The application collects anonymous usage data for the purpose of its improvement. By installing it, the user consents to the collection of this anonymous data.

The application user downloads data directly from the SHMÚ website and uses it exclusively for personal use. The application serves as a simplified browser for SHMÚ's website with add-ons. Data provided within the application is without guarantee. The SHMÚ website is always authoritative.

All information, texts, and electronic images contained on the server http://www.shmu.sk are intellectual property of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute and may not be reproduced or used in any other way than for personal use without SHMÚ's consent.
